Yes. You can check an Irish vehicle registration without creating an account or entering payment details. Optional WhatsApp cancellation alerts are a separate paid service.

The check looks up publicly available NCT dates and vehicle details, including make, model, year and colour where available. It also shows test centres and appointment dates when NCTS returns them. It does not include outstanding finance, mileage, insurance write-offs or registered owner details.

Check the registration and try again. Some vehicle records or dates may be unavailable, and the lookup can occasionally be interrupted. An unavailable date does not mean your NCT is valid or that your vehicle is exempt. Confirm your details directly with NCTS if you are unsure.

After checking your car, you can choose centres for optional WhatsApp cancellation alerts. NCT Bot is an independent monitoring service and does not reserve appointments. You complete your booking directly on the official NCTS website, ncts.ie. An alert does not guarantee that a slot will still be available.
