Terms of Service

NCT-Bot.ie provides an independent service that can notify users about public NCT appointment availability and cancellations at centres they choose. The service provides information and notifications; it does not create, hold or book an NCT appointment.

You are responsible for checking the official booking information and completing any NCT appointment directly through the official NCTS website.

NCT-Bot.ie is not affiliated, associated, authorised, endorsed by, or officially connected with NCTS, the RSA, Applus Car Testing Services Ltd or any Irish government body.

The official NCT booking website is ncts.ie. References to NCTS are used only to explain where an official booking must be completed.

Appointment availability can change immediately. A cancellation alert does not guarantee that a slot still exists, that you can book it, or that it is suitable for your vehicle or circumstances. Another user may book a slot before you reach the official NCTS website.

Using NCT-Bot does not excuse driving a vehicle without a valid NCT certificate or remove any responsibility you have under Irish law. You remain responsible for your NCT due date, vehicle condition, insurance and roadworthiness obligations.

You must provide accurate account information and keep access to your account secure. You must not misuse the site, attempt to interfere with monitoring or messaging systems, or use the service for unlawful or automated abuse.

WhatsApp notifications require you to connect and opt in to the relevant notification flow. Delivery can be affected by your device, internet connection, WhatsApp rules and third-party service availability.

Any fee, scope of access and applicable tax will be shown clearly at checkout before payment. Where you ask for a service to begin immediately, your statutory cancellation or refund rights may be affected as explained during checkout and under applicable law.

Payments are handled by the payment provider shown at checkout. The official NCT test fee is separate from any fee charged by NCT-Bot and is paid to NCTS under its own rules.

To the extent permitted by law, NCT-Bot is not liable for the absence, loss or timing of any appointment slot, or for losses arising from an unbooked NCT, missed alert, failed third-party service or decision made using the information provided.

We may update these terms when the service changes. The current version will be published on this page. Irish law governs these terms, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
