1. THE SERVICE
1.1. nct-bot.ie (the "Service") provides automated notifications regarding available National Car Test (NCT) appointment cancellations via WhatsApp.
1.2. The Service is an information provider only. We do not book appointments on your behalf. You are responsible for completing any booking on the official NCTS website.
2. INDEPENDENCE AND NON-AFFILIATION
2.1. CRITICAL NOTICE: nct-bot.ie is NOT affiliated, associated, authorized, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with the Road Safety Authority (RSA), the National Car Testing Service (NCTS), Applus Car Testing Services Ltd, or any Irish government body.
2.2. The official and only website for booking an NCT is www.ncts.ie.
3. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND PAYMENTS
3.1. Fees are charged for the automated monitoring and notification service. This fee is independent of the official NCT test fee (€60), which you must pay directly to NCTS upon booking.
3.2. Consumer Rights: In accordance with the Irish Consumer Rights Act 2022, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal. However, by subscribing, you expressly request the Service to begin immediately. Once a notification has been sent during the subscription period, the Service is considered fully performed for that period, and you waive the right to a full refund.
4. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY4.1. While we strive for 24/7 monitoring, we do not guarantee the availability of slots or that a notification will lead to a successful booking.
4.2. nct-bot.ie is not liable for any fines, penalty points, or insurance issues resulting from your vehicle being untested. The legal responsibility to maintain a valid NCT remains solely with the vehicle owner.
5. GOVERNING LAW
5.1. These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish Courts. 1
